V kuchyni máme svetlú dlažbu, ktorá bola v byte, už keď sme ho kupovali. Farba mi vyhovuje, horšie je to už s jej kvalitou. Po rokoch je už samá prasklina a škrabanec. Pri renovácii kuchyne sme dlažbu nemenili a aby som sa nemusela pozerať na tie škrabance, vymyslela som koberec. Klasický neprichádzal do úvahy, pri každodennom varení a dvoch deťoch by po mesiaci vyzeral na vyhodenie.
When we bought our apartment, the kitchen tiles were already there. I like the color, but the quality is not that good as I would expect from kitchen tiles. They have lot of scratches and cracks after years of using. When we started the kitchen renovation we have not changed the tiles, so I came up with the carpet idea not to see all the scratches and cracks. Classic rug wont be the good choice, everyday cooking and two little kids, after month would be good to throw.
Vybrala som tradičný tkaný koberec v modro bielej kombinácii. Koberec má rozmery 200 x 75 cm s bavlnenou osnovou z bielych a modrých bavlnených odstrižkov. Je vyrobený na zákazku presne podľa mojich požiadaviek. Okrem toho, že je pekný a mäkký, je aj praktický. Ak sa stane nehoda, čo sa určite pri mojej šikovnosti stane, môžem ho vyprať v práčke a bude zas ako nový.
I chose the traditional woven rug in blue and white combination. Rug has dimensions of 200 x 75 cm with a cotton warp of white and blue cotton cuttings. It is manufactured to order exactly according to my requirements. Furthermore, it is nice and soft, it is also practical. If an accident happens, and I am 100% sure that happens (I am "knacky" girl), I wash it in the washing machine and will be like new again.
V skutočnosti je ešte krajší ako na fotkách. Konečne môžem v kuchyni variť bez obáv, že mi zmrznú nohy. Ja som totiž strašne zimomrivá, bez papúč ani na krok.
In fact, it is even more beautiful than at the pictures. Finally I can cook in the kitchen without worrying that my feet will freeze. I am terribly shivering type, any move without slippers.
